Responsibilities
Verification of the existing product cost (incl. time / weight studies)
Establishment of standard costs of manufactured goods
Preparation of scenario calculations on input cost development
Close collaboration with Supply Chain and Operations to enhance productivity & profitability
Establish report material & labor variance analysis based on BOMs and production performance
Establish inventory cost and reconciliation
Developing financial analysis / reports to improve processes / profitability
Support new business process with accurate costing information
Prepare the underlying data to support CAPEX requests submitted to the local leadership team and to the group
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field
At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role – preferably in food manufacturing
Excellent financial analysis skills
Ability to prepare financial reports and give recommendations based on available data
Superior knowledge of financial reporting software tools and ERP software (VAI for Food Manufacturing an advantage)
Excellent MS Excel skills
Hands-on mentality
Eager to establish & shape the Cost Accounting Organization
strong communication skills in English (Spanish an advantage)
