Responsibilities
Provide customer service to guests and employees by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a financial services location, including emergency response activities when appropriate
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions
Monitor access points and public areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required by site policy, and direct visitors to the appropriate location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, and medical situations, and request assistance as needed
Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership
Qualification
Required
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
A guard card and/or license is preferred
