The Candidate will be working on excited state dynamics in metallic and doped semiconducting nanostructures, which is a modern research topic with plenty of experimental results that need to be modeled and rationalized by simulations
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or Equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Biophysics, or a related field, by the start date of appointment
Experience in computational chemistry
Preferred
Experience conducting research at an academic institution
Experience in developing enhanced sampling algorithms and/or free energy methods
A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities
