Responsibilities
Support the design, implementation, and validation of automation solutions, including ASRS and AGVs, in a GMP environment
Lead and support automation system testing, commissioning, startup, and qualification activities
Ensure automation technologies and project milestones remain on schedule and compliant
Collaborate with Quality, Commissioning & Qualification (CQV), Safety, Production, Site IT, and Engineering teams
Coordinate with third-party vendors and system integrators to support automation projects
Troubleshoot automation system issues and recommend effective technical solutions
Support compliance with GMP, data integrity, and regulatory requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to automation and compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation / Robotics
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Candidates with degrees in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields will be considered with strong automation experience
5–7 years of automation engineering experience
4–5 years of pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated industry experience (Biopharma preferred)
Hands-on experience with automation systems commissioning, startup, and validation
Experience working with third-party vendors
Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, industrial networks, and field devices
Ability to lead troubleshooting and recommend automation solutions
Understanding of GMP compliance and validation practices
