Maintenance Engineer
MAC Incorporated is a large manufacturing company seeking a strong Maintenance Engineer from a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves executing and supporting maintenance activities, providing technical support, and improving maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
Execute and support all maintenance activities for plant physical assets including buildings, grounds, utilities, process equipment, and packaging systems to maximize asset life and equipment reliability
Provide technical and engineering support to maintenance technicians, including troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and maintenance costs
Utilize the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM/CMMS) system to create, assign, and track work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, labor hours, and parts usage
Analyze equipment performance data to identify failure trends and recommend reliability and process improvements
Support capital and expense projects, including equipment upgrades, new installations, and reliability improvement initiatives
Assist with maintenance budgeting, spare parts planning, and inventory optimization
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, safety standards, and internal company policies
Collaborate closely with Plant Engineering, Production, and Operations teams to support equipment startups, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
MUST HAVE AN ENGINEERING DEGREE FOR THIS ROLE
Minimum of 3 years of Maintenance Engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field
Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills with a focus on reliability engineering and preventive maintenance
Experience working with CMMS/EAM systems for maintenance planning and asset management
Analytical, innovative, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Authorized to work in the United States for any employer; no current or future visa sponsorship required
