Digital Transformation Program Lead
KDDI America, headquartered in New York, is the US presence of Japan's KDDI Group, a leading provider of international IT and communications services. They are seeking a Digital Transformation Program Lead to manage digital transformation initiatives, improve operations, and enhance customer experience. Responsibilities
Lead delivery of digital transformation projects from planning through execution
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and resources
Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners
Ensure alignment between business objectives and project execution
Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
Track progress and provide regular project status updates
Support implementation and adoption of digital platforms and process improvements
Act as primary project contact for assigned clients
Build positive working relationships with client stakeholders
Participate in regular onsite engagement in the Los Angeles area
Help translate business needs into clear project plans
Support identification of new project opportunities within new/existing accounts
Contribute to solution definition and proposal development
Assist sales and delivery teams during pre-sales activities
Maintain project documentation and reporting artifacts
Support post-project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in project or program management, digital delivery, or technology consulting
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Business-level Japanese and English proficiency
Understanding of software development lifecycles and digital platforms
Experience managing cross-functional project teams
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
Preferred
Project management certification (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.)
Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery approaches
Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar
