Responsibilities
Perform civil engineering tasks supporting construction and materials operations
Review and evaluate project materials, plans, and specifications for compliance
Ensure work complies with ODOT requirements and applicable standards
Prepare clear, accurate documentation, reports, and recommendations
Coordinate directly with owners, field personnel, inspectors, and internal team members
Support construction activities through field observations, analysis, and technical guidance
Collaborate in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering or related construction support roles
Familiarity with construction materials, site development, and infrastructure projects
Working knowledge of ODOT requirements and roadway or heavy civil projects
Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with field testing, inspection, or materials evaluation a plus
