Develop highly efficient and accurate computational tools to design small molecule drugs and biologics by integrating enhanced sampling techniques, advanced machine learning algorithms, and free energy methods
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or Equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Biophysics, or a related field, by the start date of appointment
Experience in computational chemistry with a strong emphasis on biomolecular simulations
Preferred
Experience conducting research at an academic institution
Experience in developing enhanced sampling algorithms and/or free energy methods
A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities
