Supplier Quality Engineer - II
SGF Global is seeking a Quality Engineer II responsible for supporting supplier quality performance and compliance activities. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability and manage supplier-related technical issues.

Responsibilities
Identify supplier‑related technical issues and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce defects
Utilize an automated Corrective Action Request system based on 8D methodology to manage and resolve supplier issues
Serve as the primary liaison for suppliers and oversee quality performance for operational and manufacturing activities
Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance to ensure adherence to requirements
Apply engineering expertise to support product transitions and enhance reliability
Participate in quality audits and regulatory compliance assessments
Maintain and update the local Supplier Quality Ranking System
Conduct supplier meetings to review performance metrics, provide feedback, and reinforce process controls
Maintain accurate quality records, certifications, and database documentation
Prioritize and resolve customer complaints related to delivered products
Support quality improvement projects at both internal and external locations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific discipline
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality or Supply Chain Quality roles
Experience in operational or manufacturing environments
Strong technical understanding of products, systems, and integrated solutions
Comprehensive knowledge of quality standards, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies
Strong problem‑solving mindset and demonstrated follow‑through on corrective action plans
Effective communication, negotiation, and cross‑cultural collaboration skills
Proficiency with commonly used productivity tools and quality analysis software, including Google Suite, Minitab, and SAP
A valid passport is required
Due to regulatory and contractual requirements, this role requires US citizenship or green card holders
Preferred
Master's degree
Belt certification in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
