Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance in accordance with established procedures
Clean, maintain, and service production rolls to ensure optimal performance
Assist project managers during equipment design, installation, and upgrade activities
Planning, laying out, installing, and repairing complex electrical systems, including automatic and process controls, switchboards, control panels, control centers, relays, circuit breakers, and electronic control devices
Installing and configuring secondary distribution centers, balancing electrical loads, and wiring complex circuits with multiple connections
Diagnosing electrical issues; repairing or replacing defective components and control modules; testing systems and making necessary adjustments
Running conduit and pulling wire as required for system installations or repairs
Assisting with mechanical equipment repairs as needed, including production roll changes
Qualification
Required
Five or more years of experience as a maintenance electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Completion of at least two years of coursework in electrical or electronic technology, resulting in a certification or degree
Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs
Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably in elevated or confined spaces
