Responsibilities

Own the monthly close process for assigned businesses, ensuring the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and sub-ledgers
Oversee the financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance functions of the branch, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to accounting standards and regulations
Work closely with operations to provide on-going financial analysis of all Construction in Progress through the use and maintenance of financial controls, labor productivity reporting and project reviews
Ability to identify areas of potential process improvement and work with operations management and staff to implement measures which will add a clear value to branch
Consult with Director Operations Finance, VP Operations, Branch Manager, and Branch Administrators at various levels to assess business metrics, improve operational effectiveness, compliance, and overall profitability at the branch level
Work closely with estimating and project management on the preparation and costing of proposals, change orders and billing rates
Assist in establishing and maintaining branch specific and corporate policies and procedures
Management of Branch Administrative staff to ensure efficient processing of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Contracts

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Great communication skills, both written and oral
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others
Highly motivated and proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit
4+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting and/or operations
Ability to travel 15%-25% of the year
