Responsibilities
Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and cross-functional teams
Partner closely with FEWD and other disciplines to create functional, engaging product experiences
Communicate design direction, principles, and specifications clearly and confidently
Develop thoughtful processes and approaches to solving complex design problems
Apply industry best practices while exploring innovative design solutions
Create experience maps, user scenarios, user flows, and journey frameworks
Design user experiences from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity prototypes
Build rapid prototypes to validate and refine design concepts
Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to other designers
Present design work to cross-functional partners and leadership
Execute design practices within an Agile software development environment
Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to build and maintain product backlogs
Partner on defining requirements and writing user stories
Incorporate business goals into design decisions and solutions
Qualification
Required
5–7+ years of hands-on experience designing product experiences or UX solutions
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Proven experience working on cross-functional product teams in Agile environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale
Experience leading portions of larger projects or independently owning smaller initiatives
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a remote environment
Trusted collaborator who builds strong relationships with peers and stakeholders
Dependable, accountable, and proactive in fast-paced, distributed teams
Preferred
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or front-end frameworks
Experience designing native mobile applications
Ecommerce design experience
Familiarity with design research methodologies
