Responsibilities
Own the full lifecycle of automation workflows from clinician note through to paid claim
Map complex user journeys and translate them into clear product roadmaps
Define success metrics, KPIs, and OKRs for your domain and drive continuous improvement
Break large problems into thin, testable slices and ship incrementally
Lead discovery sessions, workflow design, rapid prototyping, and specification writing for critical automation workflows
Translate real customer pain points into shipped product features that move business metrics
Partner with engineering to select the right models, rules, and APIs for each workflow
Run customer pilots, gather structured feedback, and iterate quickly based on production learnings
Instrument and monitor live dashboards tracking accuracy, latency, denials, and cash-flow KPIs
Diagnose outliers and ship rapid fixes in production environments
Design and operate human-in-the-loop review systems to continuously improve model and rule performance
Embed HIPAA controls, audit trails, and payer rule updates into every release
Ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and reliable under regulatory and payer scrutiny
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience building and shipping 0→1 products in high-signal, fast-moving environments
Early-stage or 0→1 product development experience, ideally in healthcare or highly regulated environments
Proven experience building and scaling robust backend systems including APIs, distributed services, and data pipelines
Experience working directly with customers and subject-matter experts to design and refine production workflows
Comfortable owning a full product surface area from strategy through implementation and production performance
BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Strong full-stack engineering with hands-on product specification and workflow design experience
Metrics-driven product development — able to define KPIs, OKRs, and measure impact rigorously
Experience designing and operating backend systems, APIs, and automation pipelines
Customer-facing technical skills — comfortable shadowing users, running discovery, and gathering structured feedback
Clear, effective cross-functional communicator who can interface with clinical staff, engineers, and leadership
Low-ego, collaborative team player who thrives in scrappy, high-ownership environments
Strong product intuition with the ability to balance speed, quality, and regulatory requirements
Preferred
Degree from a top-tier programme (e.g. Stanford, Harvard, MIT or equivalent) strongly preferred
Background in quantitative or high-signal technical environments (e.g. Two Sigma, Jane Street, similar)
Strong interest in healthcare, automation, and applied AI
Excited by high-growth trajectories and long-term ownership of a product domain
