Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of complex pricing models within PROS Pricing
Configure advanced pricing logic including customer-specific pricing, contracts, discounts, surcharges, rebates, bundles, and multi-tier pricing
Build and maintain scalable pricing architectures that support global, multi-currency, and high-volume transaction environments
Optimize pricing performance and ensure configuration standards and best practices are followed
Serve as a subject-matter expert for PROS Pricing across the organization
Partner with pricing, revenue management, sales, product, and IT leadership to define pricing strategy and technical approach
Translate ambiguous or high-level business requirements into robust pricing solutions
Lead or support integrations between PROS and enterprise systems
Collaborate with data teams to ensure pricing data accuracy, governance, and scalability
Support production pricing issues, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Define and oversee pricing test strategies, including edge cases and complex scenarios
Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and production validation efforts
Ensure documentation of pricing configurations, assumptions, dependencies, and change impacts
Support release planning and post-deployment monitoring
Qualification
Required
7+ years of pricing systems, CPQ, or pricing configuration experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with PROS Price Optimization Management
Familiarity with PROS CPQ its function in the PROS ecosystem
Deep understanding of enterprise pricing strategies and revenue models
Proven experience designing and maintaining complex pricing configurations at scale
Strong experience with system integrations and pricing data models
Ability to lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions
Preferred
3+ years hands-on PROS CPQ
Experience in B2B pricing
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with APIs or data integration tools
PROS certifications strongly preferred
Experience supporting global pricing organizations and regulatory constraints
Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently
High attention to detail combined with strategic thinking
