The Manager, Sourcing and Development plays a critical role in delivering high-value construction finish products for homes, responsible for product development execution and efficient sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities
Execute product development and sourcing strategies to support company objectives
Develop and procure finished materials used in residential construction
Source new suppliers and manage long-term relationships with existing partners
Obtain, analyze, and compare supplier quotes, including detailed cost breakdowns
Negotiate pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules with suppliers
Partner with legal counsel to ensure contracts reflect negotiated terms
Maintain accurate vendor files and product data in the Web-Enabled Product Information Management (PIM) system
Track and report project status updates to senior leadership
Apply company vision, guiding principles, and internal control policies in all activities
Interview, hire, train, and onboard direct reports
Assign and direct work; support associate development and growth reviews
Address performance issues and resolve employee concerns in accordance with company policy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in administration, logistics, supply chain, or a related field
Experience sourcing from domestic and overseas suppliers
Proven background working with manufacturers, buying agents, inspection, and testing services
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Excellent time-management and organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to analyze large Excel data sets and perform retail math and unit conversions
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of import processes, U.S. customs, and international shipping methods
Familiarity with U.S. and California product quality and safety standards
Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally
Preferred
Experience with consumer products such as case goods, lighting, or plumbing finishes strongly preferred
