Responsibilities
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with airport operations personnel and local first responders as needed
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transportation facilities and around the perimeter, including checkpoints, curbside areas, gate corridors, baggage areas and/or parking locations, as assigned
Monitor access points and restricted areas by observing activity, verifying authorized entry and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations
Complete detailed written reports and maintain shift logs related to patrols, incidents, alarms and/or customer requests, using required tools and communication methods
Qualification
Required
Be at least 21 years of age
This is primarily a driving post
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire
