Responsibilities
Partner with teams across Lemonade to learn and understand their needs and help them choose the right vendors and tools
Lead negotiations for (mostly) SaaS, cloud, and technology agreements, securing fair pricing, strong terms, and long-term value
Own the full procurement flow, from intake and evaluation through contracting and ongoing vendor management
Leverage procurement tools, automation, and AI-powered insights to improve efficiency and data driven decision-making
Use spend data, benchmarks, and market insight to find savings and improve commercial outcomes
Build strong relationships by learning how teams work end-to-end, the tools they rely on, and where procurement can remove friction
Work closely with IT, Product, Analytics, Office Operations, People Operations, Customer Experience, Finance, Legal, and Security to support better decisions and smoother processes
Lead key initiatives and clearly share progress and impact
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or commercial roles, ideally in a tech-driven or global company
Strong hands-on experience negotiating SaaS agreements
Comfort using data, automation, and AI tools to improve workflows and decisions
A proven track record of optimizing spend and negotiating measurable savings or improved commercial outcomes
Curiosity and a willingness to learn how teams work and what they need for best results
Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts in partnership with Legal
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Strong Google Sheets / Excel skills; experience with procurement or contract tools is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Operations Research, Law, or a related field
Ability to work from our NYC office at least 3 days per week
