Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and legal correspondence
Assist with divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, and equitable distribution matters
Manage case files, deadlines, and court calendars for Philadelphia and surrounding counties
Coordinate filings with Pennsylvania state and local courts (e-filing and paper filings)
Organize and summarize financial records, including tax returns and asset documentation
Assist with trial, hearing, and mediation preparation
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and experts
Track time and assist with billing as needed
Qualification
Required
2+ years of family law paralegal experience (Pennsylvania experience strongly preferred)
Familiarity with Pennsylvania family law procedures and local court rules
Strong drafting and organizational skills
Ability to handle emotionally sensitive matters with discretion
Preferred
Experience with legal case management software (Clio, ProLaw, or similar preferred)
Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred, or equivalent experience
