Responsibilities
Collaborate with management, business departments, and partners to identify end-user requirements
Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy complex software programs, considering system limitations and performance standards
Maintain and support production operations for large, multi-subsystem systems
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced analysts and programmers
Lead projects or enhancements, including planning, scheduling, testing, and approving deployments
Recommend process and performance improvements to management
Participate in developing and customizing business systems infrastructure and IT standards
Perform day-to-day application development tasks in an Agile/Scrum environment
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional experience in business programming
Strong system design and analysis skills
Advanced proficiency in coding tools and platforms, including: Languages: Java, PL/SQL, Microsoft PowerShell, Node.js, Angular, React.js
Frameworks: Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Express.js
Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB
Application Platforms: WebSphere, Microsoft SharePoint
Build Tool: Maven, Griddle
Source Code Management: GitHub, Gitlab
CI/CD: Good understanding of DevOps and some experience with CI/CD pipelines
Deep knowledge of software selection, implementation, and project management techniques
Up-to-date with technical trends to inform strategic development decisions
Strong understanding of system development methodologies
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, JMeter, BlazeMeter, Cucumber
