They are seeking a Controls Engineer to design, implement, and support medium- to large-scale industrial control systems, collaborating with mechanical engineering and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities
Design electrical control systems including schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and bills of material using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical
Specify and configure PLCs, drives, motion systems, and control hardware
Support custom machine development in collaboration with mechanical engineering
Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues in manufacturing and field support
Ensure compliance with UL508A and NEC standards
Identify design improvements and cost-reduction opportunities
Support commissioning, documentation, training, and standardization efforts
Maintain controls documentation, ECRs, and production checklists
Promote safe work practices and compliance with company policies
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of controls engineering experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar CAD tools
Strong knowledge of PLCs, drives, servos, motion control, safety systems, and HMIs
Strong troubleshooting skills; able to multitask in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel occasionally (10–15%)
Preferred
Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley, and Trio experience preferred
Willingness to travel: 25%
