Responsibilities

Analyze internal sales data and syndicated data (e.g., Circana ) to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
Develop and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports
Prepare sales, market, and competitive analyses for leadership and cross-functional teams
Create clear, visually compelling presentations to communicate insights and recommendations
Build and maintain vendor/manufacturer scorecards to assess performance
Conduct SKU rationalization and category optimization to improve assortment efficiency and velocity
Generate merchandising insights and alerts based on syndicated data
Develop category- and brand-level sales trend dashboards and visualizations
Create demographic and trade-area profiles using U.S. Census and related data
Monitor and report on compliance, program participation, and merchandising initiatives
Support merchandising, marketing, finance, and operations with ad-hoc analysis and reporting
Respond to data and insight requests from senior leadership and internal partners
Leverage internal and external data sources (e.g., consumer decision trees) to drive store-level revenue growth
Support automation and process improvement initiatives across analytics and planning workflows
Partner with merchandising and buying teams to support vendor negotiations, trade spend optimization, and margin improvement
Develop proficiency in internal analytics tools, ERP systems, and syndicated data platforms

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
Experience in data analysis and reporting within retail, grocery, or consumer goods
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform SKU optimization and category analysis
Hands-on experience with syndicated data platforms (e.g., Circana)
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to build clear charts, dashboards, and presentations
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or similar)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to ad-hoc requests
