Responsibilities
Cable technicians available to start as soon as today or this week
Commercial and enterprise environments
Daytime shifts (with occasional off‑hours depending on site)
Locations vary across Connecticut
Structured cabling installation (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber)
Cable pulls, terminations, and testing
Rack and stack, patch panels, and cable management
Pathway work including J‑hooks, conduit, and tray
Device installs (WAPs, cameras, access control, AV endpoints)
Reading and working from prints, drawings, or scope documents
Working independently or as part of a field team
Qualification
Required
Experience as a cable technician, low‑voltage technician, telecom installer, apprentice, or trade school graduate
Ability to work in commercial or construction environments
Willingness to learn and take direction on job sites
Comfort using hand tools and basic test equipment (or desire to learn)
Ability to follow safety standards and job site procedures
Reliable transportation within Connecticut
