Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers and analysts on electric resource planning studies related to generation, storage, and transmission
Perform financial and relevant rate impact analysis for utilities and developers
Support larger scale resource planning studies for both utilities and state-level planning agencies
Learn and apply software such as PLEXOS to financial analysis
Participate in team meetings and gain exposure to the consulting engineering process and concepts
Learn how to handle regulatory and legal debates with proper decorum
Qualification
Required
A desire to fairly consider all generation and storage alternatives while focusing upon fact-based analysis that incorporates uncertainty
Minimum of 2 years completed towards earning a bachelor's degree in economics, engineering economics, or similar degree
Relevant coursework in related financial engineering concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Access optional)
Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative, client-focused environment
Demonstrate openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement
Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S
