Responsibilities
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline, plus a minimum of 6 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience; Master's degree and 4 years relevant experience
Preferred
Experience in shipbuilding project management
Ability to communicate and work well with multi-disciplinary teams
Excellent customer relation and negotiation skills
Strong cost and schedule management background
Technical problem solving skills
Risk and Opportunity Management experience
Material and logistics management experience
Experience working in production environments
