LHH is recruiting an experienced insurance defense associate for the Nashville office of a leading law firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in defense litigation, representing insurance companies in defense of various claims and providing coverage opinions.

Handling all phases of pretrial litigation, including preparing and responding to discovery requests, legal research and writing, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing for depositions and trial, preparing for and attending mediations and settlement conferences

Required

2+ years of experience with an insurance defense firm

JD with strong academic credentials

Licensed to practice law in Tennessee, or ability to become licensed in TN

Experience handling all phases of pretrial litigation, including preparing and responding to discovery requests, legal research and writing, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing for depositions and trial, preparing for and attending mediations and settlement conferences
