IT Technician

Responsibilities

Build, configure, and deploy new hardware as part of a large‑scale operating system upgrade initiative
Perform imaging, installation, and rollout of Windows‑based devices
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues for end users
Support account creation and adjustments within standard directory services
Install, configure, and support desktop, printer, and phone equipment
Upgrade memory, tag assets, and prepare devices for deployment
Work directly with end users after device build‑out, providing clear communication and customer‑focused support
Assist with application deployment and ensure systems are properly configured
Maintain accurate documentation and update tickets within the organization’s tracking system
Collaborate with on‑site and remote team members to support daily operations
Follow safety requirements and adhere to site‑specific guidelines when working in industrial or technical environments
Travel between designated sites as needed

Qualification

Required

Strong experience in Windows technical support, including imaging and device rollouts
Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments
Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently
Familiarity with account setup and basic administrative tasks
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with end users
Strong customer‑service mindset and team‑oriented attitude
Ability to be punctual, reliable, and maintain a positive demeanor
Willingness to work on‑site full time and comply with safety requirements
Ability to travel between assigned locations

Preferred

Experience with device deployment tools or imaging processes
Exposure to application support and basic network troubleshooting
Familiarity with asset management and ticketing systems
Technical certifications or equivalent hands‑on experience
