They are seeking an Information Technology Intern who will work closely with the Cybersecurity Manager and the IT team to monitor security events, respond to alerts, conduct training, and perform security assessments.

Responsibilities

Monitor security events and review logs to identify anomalies and possible incidents within the network

Respond immediately to cybersecurity-related alerts and provide a thorough investigation and analysis

Conduct Cybersecurity training, briefings, and presentations for multiple levels of business

Support the implementation and tuning of network and computer security solutions

Perform security assessments of applications and systems vulnerability testing and risk analysis

Research and identify cybersecurity trends and best practices

Respond to help desk tickets assigned to the cybersecurity team

Conduct daily monitoring and actioning of security activities related to email

Required

A current university student enrolled in a degree seeking program studying Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other closely related field (e.g., digital forensics, network security, etc.)

Excellent written and organizational skills with proven ability to balance multiple priorities at once
