Responsibilities
Research and resolve short-pays, unauthorized deductions, co-op advertising claims, and pricing disputes
Reconcile customer portals daily (Costco, Home Depot Supplier Hub, Sam's Club Retail Link, etc.) to submit valid backup and recover funds
Partner with Sales and Supply Chain to validate claims and ensure compliance with OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) and vendor scorecard requirements
Maintain the AR aging report, escalating overdue balances and managing credit holds
Manage vendor invoices related to trade spending, freight, and third-party services
Execute payment runs (ACH, wire, check) while capturing early-pay discounts
Support the close process through reconciliations, journal entries, and flux analysis
Qualification
Required
5–8 years of combined AP/AR experience specifically within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry is required
Expert knowledge of big-box retailer deduction types and portal systems (MARS, Retail Link, etc.)
Extensive experience with NetSuite and Bill.com
Advanced skills in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Power Query)
Experience with platforms like Promomash or Vividly
A collaborative, creative energy that leads up, across, and down to drive process improvements and automation (EDI)

You understand trade spend, promotional allowances, and rebate programs deeply
