Coordinator, Credentialing and Enrollment
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking two detail-oriented Credentialing & Enrollment Coordinators to support healthcare provider data management and enrollment activities. These roles will focus on maintaining accurate credentialing and enrollment records, supporting reporting needs, and ensuring timely follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Gather and validate provider enrollment data from insurance payer portals
Enter and maintain accurate information within internal credentialing systems
Monitor enrollment and credentialing status reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
Track expirables and prioritize follow-up activities accordingly
Communicate with payers, clinicians, and internal teams to resolve missing or incomplete information
Escalate issues or discrepancies to appropriate leadership as needed
Assist with reporting related to provider enrollment and credentialing activity
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all company policies and procedures
Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of healthcare administrative experience
Prior experience with provider enrollment and/or credentialing
Experience with commercial and government payers
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleanup)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred
Previous experience with credentialing or re-credentialing processes
Experience working with internal databases or CRM systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
