Technical Writer
Medasource is seeking two Technical Writers to support an enterprise-wide ERP / HCM transformation from PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud HCM. This role involves translating complex HR business processes into clear, user-friendly documentation to empower employees in the new system.

Responsibilities
Analyze and document how HR tasks currently performed in PeopleSoft will be completed in Oracle Cloud HCM, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy
Develop, format, and maintain documentation in the Oracle Knowledge Base, following established standards and templates
Rewrite technical or process-heavy materials into clear, concise, employee-facing language that supports self-service adoption and end-user success
Partner with functional SMEs, business analysts, trainers, and system experts to validate process steps and confirm accuracy of documentation
Manage documentation lifecycle—including versioning, updates, and archiving—to ensure content reflects the current state of system design and processes
Apply editorial best practices and ensure alignment with style guides, accessibility standards, and organizational tone
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of experience (7-10+ for senior TW) in technical writing, instructional design, knowledge management, or documentation development
Prior experience with ERP or HCM systems (Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, Workday, or SAP) strongly preferred
Experience writing for knowledge bases or self-service portals is highly desirable
Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills
Ability to translate technical system steps into approachable, plain-language instructions
Familiarity with HR business processes (hire, transfer, termination, time, benefits, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle Knowledge Base tools, or comparable platforms
Preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Eye for clarity, consistency, and usability in employee communications
Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment with evolving priorities
