Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain core game systems including physics, collision handling, damage modelling, input, and multiplayer systems (including backend gameplay services) to support high-speed racing gameplay
Collaborate with gameplay and cross-disciplinary teams to deliver features that meet design, performance, and quality goals on schedule
Develop internal tools and workflows to support rapid prototyping, iteration, and system validation
Perform advanced low-level debugging and root-cause analysis across engine and gameplay systems
Profile and optimize performance, memory usage, and stability across all supported platforms
Contribute to long-term technical planning and the evolution of systems used across future racing titles

Required

Strong passion for building games, with a proactive and self-directed approach to development
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
Proven experience shipping titles on modern console platforms and working directly with platform-specific APIs
At least 5 years of professional game development experience as a gameplay or systems programmer, including at least one shipped racing title
Advanced proficiency in C++
familiarity with Python or scripting languages is a plus

Preferred

Experience with vehicle damage systems, race logic, real-time audio systems, or racing-specific gameplay features is highly desirable
