Responsibilities
Own full P&L responsibility for an energy trading portfolio
Develop and execute trading strategies across day-ahead, real-time, and forward markets
Actively manage risk, position limits, and drawdowns in line with firm guidelines
Identify and exploit market inefficiencies across ISOs and hubs
Collaborate with quantitative, analytics, and risk teams to enhance performance
Continuously refine strategies based on market regime changes
Qualification
Required
5–10+ years of experience in energy trading with direct P&L ownership
Strong track record of consistent, risk-adjusted returns
Experience trading power (NYISO, PJM, ERCOT, ISO-NE) and/or natural gas
Deep understanding of market fundamentals, congestion, basis, and volatility
Strong risk discipline and ability to operate autonomously
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
