Responsibilities
Set up and organize new electronic files
Monitor new hire onboarding
Follow up with sites regarding missing new hire paperwork
Process employee changes, including rate and status changes
Monitor the HR email box and either process/respond or forward emails appropriately
Review returned mail and follow up with sites for updated mailing addresses
Other projects and duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
Enrolled in Human Resource Management undergraduate courses or a related educational program
Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people
Strong customer service skills
Problem solving capabilities necessary to accomplish the duties and tasks of the position
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment
Detail oriented
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail
Ability to work with a minimum of supervision (must be highly motivated and self-directed)
Appropriately maintains the confidentiality of financial and personnel information
Ability to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English
