They are looking for a supply chain coordinator to assess raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production, while assisting in inventory management and coordinating production processes.

Responsibilities
Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production
Assist the Vice President and Finance Manager with managing the company’s inventory, including maintaining appropriate inventory levels, ordering materials, and other related tasks
Assist during the production process daily, performing numerous tasks as needed including distributing production schedules, coordinating between departments, reviewing staffing tables, and ensuring adequate material availability
Gather and record relevant production data
Clean and maintain production area daily according to established safety ordinances and documented standards
Communicate with vendors, management personnel, customers, and technical experts as necessary to coordinate production and shipping activities and resolve issues efficiently
Report on the production status and any production issues to management
Find ways to improve productivity and reduce costs
Expedite overall production during every shift by managing shipping/receiving of materials, distribution of supplies, assembly of new equipment, and completion of repairs when necessary
Such other and further duties as assigned by the company’s President or Vice President
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a production assistant, buyer, inventory specialist, and/or production planner
