Senior LevelReval is an early-stage, VC-backed startup focused on building an AI-powered financial operating system for local governments. The Founding Full Stack Engineer will work closely with technical and executive leadership to shape core architecture and ship end-to-end product features while establishing engineering standards and supporting infrastructure and security efforts.

Responsibilities
Build and ship full-stack product features across React, Node, Postgres, and AWS
Design, implement, and maintain reliable data pipelines and integrations spanning banks, pooled funds, and ERPs
Partner directly with pilot customers to refine UX, close workflow gaps, and deliver features that run in production
Establish engineering best practices, architecture patterns, and code quality norms in the earliest days
Support infrastructure and security efforts including logging/monitoring and SOC 2 foundations
Influence product direction and own major slices of the roadmap
Help define engineering culture on a small, fast-moving team
Qualification
Required
Experienced owning and shipping production systems end-to-end, ideally in early-stage or high-ownership environments
Strong across frontend (React, TypeScript) and backend (Node, Postgres, AWS), including API and data model design
Comfortable designing modular component systems and scalable, maintainable architecture
Excited to work onsite with a tight-knit team and values rapid feedback loops
Experienced with cloud infrastructure and secure data handling practices
Motivated by building software that moves real money and improves how cities and communities operate
Preferred
LLMs/prompt engineering/fine-tuning
fintech or banking integrations
secure ingestion/ETL pipelines
experience in regulated/compliance-heavy products
