Responsibilities
Insurance Plan Analysis: Develop thorough, visually appealing plan exhibits for clients including multi-year renewal strategy, rate projections and contribution rates for self-insured plans
Medical Claims Review: Leverage cost and quality data to develop reporting and inform client strategy, identifying key trends and drive plan design changes
Client Advisory & Influence: Serve as a senior analytics advisor to internal partners and clients
Subject Matter Expertise & Team Support: Act as an organizational Subject Matter Expert for benefit analytics and our data warehouse, leveraging integrated cost and quality data
Operational Excellence: Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures
Qualification
Required
Four-year college degree and 3-5 years' experience in employee benefits consulting, underwriting, or analytics
Strong claims analytics and client communication skills
Demonstrated ability to mentor others and translate data into strategy
Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Superior knowledge of benefits and self-funding strategy
High-level proficiency with analytics tools
Project and quality management discipline
Preferred
Life & Health license preferred but not required
