Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced DevOps/CloudOps Engineer to support their online banking and mobile applications. This role is responsible for configuring and delivering software delivery automation using cloud technologies, ensuring software deployments meet access and authentication standards.

Responsibilities

Ensure software deployments are configured to meet standards for access, ownership, and authentication

Ensure software promotion release pipelines are well designed and follow Continuous Delivery (CD) best practices for our cloud infrastructure

Share the on-call duty with the rest of the team

Configure and maintain the set of tools and services that provide Continuous Delivery (CD) services

Review the configuration of applications servers to confirm that CD service platform onboarding prerequisites are available and configured properly

Work with Infrastructure and Solutions Engineers to understand changes in CD service platform components and behaviors

Respond to 'how to' information requests from Software and Infrastructure about CD service use

Monitor and respond to alerts based on the infrastructure key performance indicators (KPI) for the service supporting CD services

Respond to risk or audit identified issues with access control processed designed for compliance with firm separation of duties practices and software release management standards, and policies

Work with Site Reliability Engineers to understand the planned changes in monitoring and alerting capabilities

Responsible for creating or contributing to the CD Platform services documentation

Required

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

Knowledge of AWS and its associated technologies, both from DevOps and CloudOps perspective

Knowledge of Amazon ECS Cloud instances and configuration

Knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code

Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools and configuration of build and release pipelines

Working with version control tools such as Bitbucket or Github

Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed

Minimum 3+ years in Cloud Technologies preferably AWS

Minimum 3+ years of experience with deployment orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and XL Release

Minimum 2+ years of experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible Tower

Minimum 2+ years of experience with Docker and Docker-Compose

Strong Linux command line experience

Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace

Experience with Defect Management and their tools such as ALM or Octane

Able to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation

Strong written and verbal communication skills

BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
