Maintenance and Facilities Technician
NorthKey Community Care is seeking to hire a full-time Maintenance and Facilities Technician to join their internal team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and inspection of organizational outpatient healthcare facilities and property in the Northern Kentucky region.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of all NorthKey facilities, including buildings/structures, parking lots, grounds, machinery, fixtures, appliances, vehicles, emergency and safety equipment, etc
Ensure compliance with all operational, environmental, and other regulatory and policy compliance requirements
Identify and address all maintenance and repair needs as they arise in a timely and efficient manner
Coordinate maintenance, repair, and other facilities projects to ensure the continued operation of the business
Communicate with staff and outside vendors/contractors in a customer friendly, professionally appropriate manner
Maintain records and report on scheduled maintenance and repair activities
Monitor equipment, gauges, heating/cooling systems, fire alarm systems, plumbing, electrical systems, vehicles, etc
Respond to emergencies in a responsive, efficient, and effective manner
When needed, assist in duties such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, waxing, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash, polishing furniture, washing walls, washing windows, etc
Assist with organizational moves (ie. moving furniture, appliances, equipment, etc.)
Properly maintain facilities and grounds during snow and ice events
Provide on-call and emergency after-hours services as necessary
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
1-5 years experience with maintenance, and/or safety duties, including but not limited to HVAC, fire and emergency systems, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, security, carpentry, and/or other general repair work
Strong organizational skills in order to manage multiple tasks, projects, and responsibilities
Strong written, oral, and customer-service communication skills
Ability to assume responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to drive a motor vehicle, and possess a valid driver's license
Ability to be on-call in case of emergency
Ability to work flexible hours
Experience and ability to utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel) and web-based facilities management systems, such as Facilities Management Express
Preferred
Trade School in relevant field preferred
