Responsibilities
Budget/Forecast (Content Licensing and Affiliate Revenue)
Prepare detailed 5-year financial revenue and cash models
Develop and maintain financial forecasts and databases
Analyze close results and trends and prepare monthly close package
Help prepare annual Budget LRP and reports for senior management
Perform financial analysis of proposed economics
Review contractual provisions during negotiations to ensure economic terms within the financial model and contract agree
Analyze subscriber and financial history
Improve and maintain process for tracking and reporting content licensing sales
Perform ad hoc analysis to support the distribution business, as necessary
Develop an understanding of AMCN distribution products and their position in the marketplace
Research and summarize industry trends to inform forecast as well as renewal strategy
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate degree in Economics, Accounting/Finance, or a related field
3 - 5 years' experience in Financial Analytics
Prior experience with financial modeling is required
Prior budget or forecast experience is required
Strong business acumen and communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Extremely diligent with a high attention to detail
Comfortable working in high pressure situations
Accountable for quality and accuracy of work
Must be a creative problem solver and a quick thinker
Preferred
