Design and Reliability Engineering Internship (2 Openings) - Summer 2026

Responsibilities
Assist reliability engineers in analyzing reliability data and contribute to engineering information management efforts
Support data collection, analysis, and utilization for reliability and asset management projects, while gaining hands-on experience in the design, operation, and maintenance of transmission lines and substations
Collaborate with field personnel to assess the condition of transmission lines and substations and support the construction and design of engineering projects
Work alongside engineers in the development of drawings for future projects, contributing to the creation of engineering documentation
Support design engineers on transmission line, substation, protection, and communications projects, gaining exposure to the design and planning of these critical infrastructure elements
Qualification
Required
Organized, self-motivated engineering students
Completed at least one year of college by the time of the internship
Preferably majoring in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering
Ability to work 40 hours per week from June to September
Preferred
AutoCAD experience
