Sr. Project Manager (DSA/K-12 Construction)
K2 Staffing is a Nationwide and Multi-Regional Top Workplace of 2023, focused on quality construction and employee ownership. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage client expectations, provide project leadership, and oversee all phases of construction projects, particularly in the K-12 sector.

Responsibilities
Manage client expectations throughout all phases of the project
Provide project leadership and supervisory oversight
Ensure project document control by keeping all documents complete, current, and properly managed
Manage and prepare cost proposals and change orders
Develop project budgets and manage buy-out/contracting processes
Perform project accounting tasks including preparing Owner billings and reviewing/approving Subcontractor progress payments
Maintain budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
Manage submittals, RFIs, and all project documentation requirements
Develop and manage CPM schedules
Oversee project subcontractors, including coordination, procurement of materials and equipment, budget monitoring, and billing management
Coordinate with architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, and field personnel
Qualification
Required
Experience in commercial and/or public works construction, managing multiple projects or a single large, complex project
Strong understanding of current construction methods, materials, and regulations
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple activities and teams efficiently
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project or other scheduling software
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving history
Preferred
Bachelors degree in construction management, construction science, or other industry-related programs
Experience on projects within larger school bond programs (e.g., SDUSD, LAUSD)
Experience using Procore project management software
Experience in Higher Education and Healthcare market sectors
