Manufacturing Engineer - Controls
EDAG Inc. is a leading partner in the planning, design, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing facilities. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Controls to improve continuous improvement projects, troubleshoot machine downtime, and work closely with various teams on technical projects.

Responsibilities
Improving / continuous improvement projects working hand-in-hand with MFE personnel
Example projects: camera integrations, poke-yoke / sensor installations, updating PLC programming, etc
Troubleshooting machine downtime / PLC issues with IT and Maintenance Controls teams
Qualification
Required
Preferred B.S. Engineering (or equivalent experience working in engineering role for 5+ years)
Siemens PLC experience / training
Experience with programming / setup of camera systems (Keyence, Cognex, etc.)
Strong critical thinking skills
Knowledge of SCADA systems and how they function
Knowledge of MES systems/layer and how they function
Ability to read electrical drawings
SQL Server Management Studio querying
Ideally a fast learner, as we will have to train on a proprietary controls standard
Siemens TIA Portal experience (mostly troubleshooting, ground up programming not required)
Vision system experience (ideally Keyence)
