Responsibilities
Design and implement systems for high availability, performance, and scalability
Automate infrastructure lifecycle with Terraform and oversee continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Contribute to the application codebase to support infrastructure initiatives such as tracing & observability, health check logic, and supporting regional failovers
Create tooling for developers and support to access and query infrastructure
Collaborate with other engineers on system architecture, deployments, and operational readiness
Monitor, investigate, and continuously improve system reliability, scalability, and latency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant
7+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, and/or Software Engineering roles with demonstrated expertise in large-scale, production-grade environments
Proven hands-on AWS experience
Strong skills in Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools
Proficient in Java or other programming languages—able to architect and implement advanced features, debugging, and optimizations
Demonstrated experience in building maintaining and monitoring production applications and developing common deployment and DX tooling
String understanding of distributed systems, failure modes, and design for reliability/availability
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Strong familiarity with CI/CD best practices and secure deployment methodologies
