Payroll Coordinator
LHH is seeking a Payroll Contractor to join their onsite project team in Hermitage, TN. The role involves processing payroll transactions, maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, and addressing employee inquiries.

Responsibilities
Process payroll transactions, including wages, deductions, and benefits
Maintain and update payroll records and employee information
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Address payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
Assist with payroll reporting and documentation
Support W-2C tasks, including secure email replies and USPS mailings
Compile overtime and management reporting items
Monitor and respond to inquiries in shared payroll email mailboxes
Perform additional payroll-related duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Prior experience working in a payroll department
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Proficiency with standard office and payroll systems
Dependable, collaborative, and proactive in supporting team needs
