Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting a manufacturing client in searching for a Human Resources Assistant - Onboarding Specialist. The role involves supporting a busy HR department with onboarding new hires and providing assistance across various HR functions due to rapid company growth.

Responsibilities

Support HR with onboarding new hires, processing all new hire paperwork and setting up new hires in ADP
Serve as a point of contact and respond to and/or support the resolution of employee inquiries regarding a wide variety of HR issues including payroll, benefits, compensation, etc
Responsible for daily and weekly administrative requirements of the HR team. This includes management of the employee data, support of business scheduling needs, basic project support, etc
Effectively interact with managers, employees, and vendors to coordinate scheduling of meetings and/or other activities
Demonstrates a solid understanding of manager and employee business needs, anticipates requests and works to deliver a positive resolution
Demonstrates significant empathy for the personal circumstances of employees
Demonstrates depth and breadth of understanding of company policy and process related to new hires, leaves of absence, benefits, job opportunities and all areas of HR and the business

Required

Minimum of 1 year of HR administrative support experience is desirable (HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or related role)
Knowledge of ADP payroll and processing is a strong plus
College degree and/or related experience
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
