7Seventy Recruiting is seeking an Outbound Business Development Representative to support a modern revenue organization. The role involves engaging prospective buyers, qualifying interest, and generating a high-quality pipeline for Account Executives through outbound outreach.

Information Services

Responsibilities

Proactively source and engage outbound prospects aligned to the ideal customer profile
Research target accounts and personalize outreach to senior stakeholders
Run outbound sequences across phone, email, and LinkedIn with consistency and purpose
Hold discovery conversations to uncover needs, priorities, and buying context
Qualify opportunities using defined criteria and book well-qualified meetings for Account Executives
Maintain accurate activity, notes, and lead stages in HubSpot CRM
Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure clean handoffs and feedback loops
Collaborate with Marketing on messaging, target segments, and market learnings
Continuously improve messaging, objection handling, and executive-level positioning
Daily activity: ~50–80 outreach touches (calls, emails, LinkedIn)
Monthly goal: ~5 qualified sales opportunities (SQLs)
Pipeline quality: strong show rates, clean qualification, consistent CRM hygiene
Messaging quality: clear, relevant, and personalized communication for senior decision-makers

Required

2-4 years in business development, sales, SDR/BDR, inside sales, account management, or similar roles
Proven ability to run a daily outbound cadence and generate pipeline against clear targets
Coachability and a growth mindset; receptive to feedback and continuous improvement
Strong organization and time management across multiple accounts, follow-ups, and priorities
Confident, professional communicator who can engage senior stakeholders with credibility
Ability to build rapport quickly while staying focused on business outcomes
Comfort with modern sales tools (HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, Outreach); experience is a plus
Ownership mindset; adapts fast when something isn't working
