Responsibilities
Responsible for protein expression and purification; cell-line engineering; and testing antibodies for use in flow cytometry applications. The position requires extensive hands-on experience with protein purification and protein expression
Responsible for purification of antibodies and recombinant proteins using AKTA FPLC and manual methods
Executes analytical testing of purified antibodies and proteins using SEC, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, MADLS, and qPCR
Responsible for transfection and/or expression of antibodies and recombinant proteins from various mammalian cell lines, including but not limited to CHO and hybridomas, as well as •E. coli•. Specific requirement for hands-on experience with aseptic technique and cell-culture techniques
Responsible for the execution of experiments with varying complexity using multi-color Flow Cytometry
Protein purification with liquid chromatography and quality assurance using various analytical methods
Protein expression using various systems, including but not limited to mammalian cells, insect cells, and bacteria
Proficiency with aseptic technique and cell-culture techniques is required
Preferred: Familiarity with assay automation and automated liquid handlers
Preferred: Experience with cell line engineering
Preferred: Hands-on experience with Flow Cytometry and the ability to analyze Flow data
Responsible for antibody screening using flow cytometry, hybridoma tissue culture and development, and recombinant protein expression. The position requires extensive hands-on experience with flow cytometry
Responsible for the design and execution of experiments with varying complexity using multi-color Flow Cytometry
Responsible for transfection and expression of antibodies in cell lines, hybridoma tissue culture, and culture of various cell lines for testing. Specific requirement for hands-on experience with aseptic technique and cell-culture techniques
Responsible for executing experiments using automated liquid handling and other automation equipment
Hands-on experience designing, performing, and analyzing flow cytometry experiments, preferably on BD flow cytometers (LSRII, LSR Fortessa, Canto, Aria)
Familiarity with assay automation
Familiarity with molecular biology (DNA preparation)
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of biochemistry, molecular biology, and expertise in tissue culture
Extensive hands-on experience with protein purification and protein expression
