Responsibilities
Support IT and business teams in optimizing the use of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools
Research, test, and implement cloud security guardrails and best practices
Develop and maintain cloud security documentation, standards, and operational handoffs
Define and enforce cloud security policies, procedures, and controls
Provide security architecture guidance and consulting to application and infrastructure teams
Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design reviews for cloud-based systems
Review network architectures, application data flows, and system integrations to ensure compliance with security standards
Assist in developing high-level security reference architectures and network designs
Support and enhance multi-cloud security strategies
Improve and mature cloud security review and intake processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in Cloud Cybersecurity within a large enterprise environment
Strong knowledge of major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
Experience with cloud security domains including: Identity and Access Management (IAM), Network Security, Data Protection, Infrastructure Security, Logging and Monitoring
Solid understanding of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Working knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages
Strong ability to identify cybersecurity risks and recommend effective mitigating controls
Preferred
Master's degree in a related field
Experience with CSPM tools (e.g., Orca or similar platforms)
Background in security architecture and secure system design
Familiarity with emerging cybersecurity risks, including those related to AI and automation
