Responsibilities
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reinsurance close
Prepare and analyze journal entries and reporting under GAAP and Statutory
Deliver variance analysis and financial insights to leadership
Own end-to-end reinsurance accounting processes and calculations
Support regulatory reporting, settlements, and audits
Maintain controls documentation and drive process improvements
Qualification
Required
3+ years of insurance/reinsurance accounting experience
Strong Excel and analytical skills
Clear communicator who can manage deadlines and take ownership
Preferred
CPA or in progress preferred
Experience with systems like Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workiva, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL/Snowflake
