Intern, Information Technology (Summer 2026)
Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts is seeking an Intern for their Information Technology team for Summer 2026. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with Help Desk requests, deploying new workstations, and managing electronic equipment recycling pickups.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot computer and mobile device hardware and software issues
Assist with end-user Help Desk and AV requests
Deploy new computer workstations
Setup and manage the yearly computer and electronic equipment recycling pickup
Other projects will be assigned as needed, based on abilities and interests
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, MAC OSX, iOS and Android
Proficiency in MS Office 2010 & 2013
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and networking
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to communicate well, both in written form and verbally
Undergraduate students (must have completed at least 1 year of undergraduate study)
Graduate students
Recent graduates (up to 2 years out of school)
Career-changers currently enrolled in a degree program
International students (J-1 or F-1 Visa required)
Must be physically located in and have a local address in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia for the duration of their employment
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75 percent of the time
Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment (i.e. calculator, copier, printer, etc.)
Occasionally required to walk, stoop, bend and reach with arms
Lift/move up to 10 pounds infrequently
